National
institute of Design (NID) is a national design institute that conducts an
entrance exam every year which is named as design aptitude test (DAT). NID DAT
tests the candidates’ creative ability, sketching skills, problem solving
skills, communication skills, and unique design skills. Once you clear the DAT
test conducted by NID, you will be eligible for the next round of selection

Stay
updated with the current affairs and general awareness till today. Gather and
learn all about the history of design and fine arts, sharpen your knowledge
about global art and aesthetics. Read newspapers, design and fashion magazines
daily. Learn about the history and people who contributed more to the design
world.

Solve as
many NID sample questions as possible as this will give you can idea about the
questions and the type of questions asked in the exam. When solving the
questions, it will help you analyze which part of the section you have to focus
more while preparing. This indeed will increase the speed at which you solve
the question paper.
Reduce the usage of your eraser: Time is most important factor in an exam hall.
The
Duration for NID exam is 3 hours, it is a wise action if you don't waste your
